Sports for Development and Peace
KWO use sports as a tool for development and peace. We teach social and moral values to children and youth through team-based sports activities. Kafka has been using sports to promote peace and health in Pakistan. Also, sports help to improve learning outcomes in a school.
Our motive is to counter violent extremism among youth in Pakistan through sports. Moreover, we have been using sports for advocacy of Child Marriages, SRHR and HIV/AIDS.
KWO has been campaigning to counter violent extremism among youth in Pakistan. Under the campaign we have organized International Youth Peace Summit 2013, 2nd Youth Peace Summit 2014 and Youth Peace Symposium 2015.
Since 2014, KWO has been working on the implementation and advocacy of Right to Education law (Article-25A) Punjab. Lahore Education Conference, education forum, enrollment tour and girls education round table conference are some important initiatives of KWO.
Girls Education Forum
KWO has Initiated Live Girls Education Forum with other partners to do reliable data based digital advocacy and create a momentum for social change. It also promotes gender equality & equity and do advocacy on SRHR, violence against women & sexual harassment.
Stop Child Marriages
KWO has started Child Marriages campaign in 2013 to change the existing child marriages law that was later modified and the punishment and age for boys/men had increased. We also engaged parliamentarians and build capacity of youth on the issue to create a momentum for positive social change.
Youth Health Friendly Helpline
It is a digital social media based helpline that provide advocacy based information to young people on Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights and HIV/AIDS.
